"The purpose of a writer is to keep civilization from destroying itself."

~ JCP Writing ~

Most of the pieces below were written in the early nineties when I was still fired up about being a writer.
The flame burned for a few years and eventually burned out. It pretty much got replaced by my
love of photography ... especially when digital cameras started coming along better and better.
After retiring from teaching and moving back to my old home town, I happily rediscovered
several folders of my writing projects. Some finished, some still in the works.
The flame is starting to re-ignite!

Like my photography, all pieces here are owned by me, loved by me and
good, bad or ugly, copyrighted by me. Should you wish to print a copy to
read to your kids in school or at home (especially 'Wally's World') ... no problem.
Just let me know how it was used and how it went.
However, all rights, no matter how the reproduction, are owned by Jim Cherry
and no mass reproduction is allowed without written permission.

Enjoy!
