Campaign promises are a lot like bubbles.
We go for the ones we think are the largest,
the prettiest, the best . . .
After election the bubbles burst, dry-up and disappear
and we wonder where they went . . .
After a while we wonder . . .
just what did they look like?
And then we move on.
