| Port Jervis ARTS WALK 2009 |
| The City of Port Jervis and the Tri-State Chamber of Commerce are presenting our 11th annual Arts Walk, which will be held in downtown Port Jervis on Saturday July 18th from 11 am to 6 pm. with a rain date of Sunday July 19th. We would like to thank you for your generous support of last year’s Arts Walk, which made it such a success. We ask for your continuing support for this years endeavor, which, in addition to the art exhibits, will repeat the Arts-in-Progress program with artists sketching or painting live models as well as continuing our live mini-concerts. We plan to continue the NaCI Stilt walkers, and hope the ballet dance group will be able to participate again this year. There will be food vendors on Front Street as well. Our mission is to provide cultural stimulation in Port Jervis and thereby promote the tri-state area. This event attracts thousands of visitors each year. Arts Walk 2009 is a not-for-profit function. No monies are paid for administration. All workers are volunteers. All monies raised are used to defray expenses incurred to produce as successful event. With out you, we cannot make it happen. Artwork of all kinds ranging from paintings, sketches, sculptures, photographs, and pottery will be exhibited along Front Street and in the stores and offices downtown. Last year you were a leading sponsor for the event, and we would be proud to have your sponsorship for this year’s event. For $1,200 your name will be prominently displayed on three banners across the streets at two entrances to the city, and one across Main Street at Sussex Street. You will have a platinum full-page advertisement in the journal. Additionally your name will be included in all advertising releases for the event.
